1. Use of Personal Information and legal grounds

We processes your personal data in order to provide the Services by downloading, accessing and/or playing our games or using our other Services. Most of this data comes directly from you. We collect the following information you provide in connection with our Services:

User Generated Content, including any files, documents, videos, images, data, or information you choose to upload or transmit through your communications with us or your use of the Services.

2. Who we share information with

We will not share any Personal Data that we have collected from or regarding you except as described below:

Information Shared with Our Service Providers. We engage external service providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. As part of that they will process your Personal Data on our behalf. These external service providers have access to your Personal Data only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf, in compliance with this Privacy Policy, and we make sure each one is contractually obliged not to disclose or use your Personal Data for any other purpose. We employ third parties located in and outside of your country of residence (including outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)) to collect or process personal information on our behalf for various reasons, such as conducting market surveys or analyzing gameplay event data. When our third party agents or service providers collect or receive personal information, we require that they use the data only on our behalf and for purposes consistent with this policy.

However, in the event of a reorganization, divestiture, merger, sale or bankruptcy, we may transfer all information we collect to the relevant third party and will obtain your consent to do so if required by law.

We do not control information sent from your browser to third parties, such as advertising networks and analytics companies that receive information in the normal course of your Internet activity. When third party technologies or social tools are integrated into our products, those third parties may collect information when you use our products. An example is the Facebook “Like" button.

European Economic Area (EEA) Only:

We use your device settings and SIM card registered country to determine whether we believe you are located in the EEA. That processing is done on your device.

If your device indicates that you are located in the EEA:

We prompt you for your age to determine whether you are old enough to lawfully consent to tracking of your device identifier and advertising identifier; and

If you are of legal age to consent in your country of residence, we prompt you for consent to serve personalized advertising.

4. Children

Unless stated otherwise for a particular Service, children are not allowed to use the Services, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from them. We define “children" as follows:

Residents of the UK: anyone under 13 years old.

Residents of the EEA: anyone under 16 years old, or the age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in your country of residence.

Residents of the Republic of Korea, anyone under 14 years old.

Residents of other regions: anyone under 13 years old or the age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in that region.

5. Data retention

Unless the law specifies a different retention period, Ubisoft will only keep your Data for the time strictly necessary to carry out the operations for which said Data has been collected by Ubisoft.

For example, we will keep the Data associated with your Account until the closure of the Account. In some cases, the Data may be kept for a longer period such as when it is needed for us to apply a sanction.

6. Obtain a copy of your data

At any time you can request a copy of the Data associated with your Account. You may also consult the Data, use it yourself or transfer it to another service provider. We has established a simple procedure for you to exercise your rights:

If you have been sanctioned in relation to our Services, we will not be able to give you access to the Data regarding your sanction so as to maintain our ability to detect or take action against such behaviour.

Correct your Data – “Right to rectification": You have the right to correct your Data when it is inaccurate or incomplete (for example, change your delivery address).

Give and withdraw your consent – “Right to object and withdraw your consent": At any time, you may withdraw your consent or object to the receipt of newsletters or advertising emails, the personalisation of advertisements or the sharing of your Data with our partners (except for subsidiaries and technical service providers):

on the Account management page, in the “Privacy and Communication" Section,

on the Cookies page, to set the Cookies,

for some of our mobile games, in the privacy settings,

on your telephone or your tablet, in the settings, by activating “Limit Ad Tracking" on telephones, or activating “Opt-out of Ads Personalisation" on Android telephones.

Delete your Account – “Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)": You can request the closure of your Account and the deletion of the associated Data.

If you have been sanctioned in relation to our Services, we cannot delete the Data regarding your sanction as to allow us to maintain your sanction.

Limit the use of your Data – “Right to restriction of processing": You also have the right to request that your Data no longer be used or not be deleted during the time we are processing your request.

If you feel that your rights have not been respected after having contacted us, you have the right to make a complaint to the regulatory authority in your country.
